This laptop is just off corporate lease. It is in
Fantastic shape and everything works perfectly. I give it a rate at 9.0. I used four out of ten of them for my Home VMware 5.0 Lab (Yes, they can run VMware 5.0!). This one is for sale.

The ThinkPad T61 is a premium product with
a durable build, it is geared towards business users and won't fall apart after
1-year of use. For somebody that travels a lot or relies on their
notebook to earn a livelihood, the build and reliability factor is
probably more important than having the latest and greatest components
inside. It is also a great first laptop for students too.

Here are the a few reasons you should buy this machine:
1. APS:
    Active Protection System. Please search for ThindPad Drop Test on YouTube to see what I am talking about in here.
2. LED Light:
    You can turn off the bedroom light and use the building LED to see the key pad and type at night. Your roommate will love you for this!
3. Finger Print Scan:
    Swipe one of your finger (can be the middle one too) instead type your password every time you login. Cool.
4. Wireless Switch:
    Switch between wireless and cable internet in 5 seconds.
5. Coffee Drain Holes:
   Spill some coffee, tea, bear or water on the keyboard? Don't worry, it will drain out from the holes.
6. Durable:
   It will last for years. Most ThinkPad owner always keep them for a long, long time.

Does not come with original pen, but alternative is includedI have replaced it with a new Axiotron digitizer pen.  It has 2 side buttons instead of the single 1 on the Lenovo pen. Drivers for it are here on wacom's site. It fits in the pen compartment but is about a quarter inch longer so it's not entirely flush with the laptop body.

This Lenovo Think Pad T420 is in mint condition. There is not one scratch anywhere on the computer. It is less than a month old. I have everything that came with the computer. Nothing is missing. I also have the original Lenovo box the computer came in as well. I am selling it because my new job has issued me my own lap top.
